James Pattinson charged with CA Code of Conduct breach

March 22, 2019

Cricket Australia (CA) advises that Victorian Cricket Team player, James Pattinson, has been charged with a Level 1 breach of the CA Code of Conduct in the latest round of the JLT Sheffield Shield against South Australia on 21 March.

Pattinson was reported for breaching CA’s Code of Conduct Article 2.1.4 – showing dissent at an umpires’ decision during a match.

Match Referee Peter Marshall considered the umpires’ report and proposed a fine of 100% of Pattinson’s match fee, as this was his second offence in an 18 month period.

Pattinson admitted to the offence and accepted the fine.
