Reconciliation Action Plan

Australian Cricket has adopted a Reconciliation Action Plan dedicated to Indigenous communities.

The Australian Cricket Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is the newest part of cricket’s ongoing dedication to Indigenous communities.

It reinforces our commitment to reconciliation and aims to help strengthen relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As with the creation and implementation of all of cricket’s Indigenous programs, it has been designed and influenced by Indigenous Australians and has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

Australian Cricket’s RAP is a commitment to Indigenous Australians. It’s an acknowledgement that our responsibility to Indigenous Australians goes beyond just involvement in cricket.

It draws on cricket’s significant sphere of influence in Australia to contribute to reconciliation. Within it are practical actions and aspirational plans that will drive greater equality and sustainable opportunities for Indigenous Australians.

In tandem with the National Indigenous Cricket Strategy, our local Indigenous Advisory Committees across the country, and Australian Cricket’s dedicated staff, administrators, and volunteers, the RAP will help create a ‘whole-of-system’ commitment to Indigenous equality and inclusion.
