Charlie Hemphrey charged with CA Code of Conduct breach

Cricket Australia (CA) advises that Queensland’s Charlie Hemphrey has been charged for breaching the CA Code of Conduct on 27 November 2017 in his side’s JLT Sheffield Shield match against Western Australia at the WACA Ground.
Hemphrey was reported for breaching CA’s Code of Conduct Article 2.1.3 – showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match – a Level 1 offence.
The offence occurred during Queensland’s second innings, when Hemphrey was at the crease.
As per the CA Code of Conduct procedure, Match Referee David Talalla considered the umpires’ report, and proposed a sanction of a reprimand.
Hemphrey admitted the offence and accepted the sanction, no hearing was required.
