Alyssa Healy charged with CA Code of Conduct breach

February 08, 2018

Cricket Australia (CA) advises that Sydney Sixers WBBL’s Alyssa Healy has been charged for breaching the CA Code of Conduct on 4 February 2018 in the rebel Women’s Big Bash League Final against Perth Scorchers at Adelaide Oval.

Healy was reported for breaching CA Code of Conduct Article 2.2.11 – conduct that is contrary to the spirit of the game – a Level 2 offence.

The offence occurred during the Scorchers’ batting innings, when Elyse Villani was dismissed.

As per the CA Code of Conduct procedure, Match Referee Daryl Harper considered the umpires’ report, and proposed a sanction of a reprimand should the player accept the umpire’s version of events.

Healy admitted the offence and accepted the sanction, no hearing was required.
